This sweet baby girl belongs to a friend of mine. I have had the privilege of watching her grow over these last six months but am going to miss the next six. They will be moving from our area in just a few short weeks but hopefully will come back for photo shoots ;-)
There is just something about polka dot and cherry print that takes me back. They, along with a few others like blue and white strips, strawberries and red bandanna prints let me know that summer is here and I feel like a kid again.

sunshine on a cloudy day | izzy, easton and zayden
Three 9-month old babies. All of whom had their own ideas of how this photo shoot was to be run. None of which were the same ideas that I had ;-) "What? You want us to all stay in one spot AND look at the camera at the same time? Not happening lady!"
They have each already decided that they are individuals and not just triplets. At least that's what they're telling me anyway. That's all fine because shooting them individually was equally as fun. Can't wait to see what their one-year cake smash holds in store!
And sometimes it takes a little screen time at an attempt to get them all looking at the same place at the same time. (side note; it still didn't work)

SC Nebraska Photographer | Infant Photography | Spring Mini Session~Sofie
What a beautiful day for spring mini sessions! And I got to start it all of with this little dolly. She didn't have a lot of smiles for me, but she was as sweet as could be and had some adorable serious faces. I love my job!

The old catch phrase, "it takes a village," is true in this case for sure. Although, I am very confident that if no one was around, the parents of these little sweeties would do just fine on their own. Such good babies who are comfortable in any situation. This photo shoot was proof of that.
Great Grandma and Grandpa came along to assist so we had to get them in as many shots as possible. It was such a treat for me to watch them interact with their grand babies.

Maia
"It doesn't happen all at once. You become. It takes a long time.
That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges,
or who have to be carefully kept."
LOVE makes you real.
~Margery Williams, The Velveteen Rabbit
We had a beautiful day to photograph little miss Maia for her 10-month session. Although this photo shoot was about Maia, Phoebe kitty decided that it was all about her and had to be sure to butt her cute little self in every shot possible. She was not about to let Maia have all the glory.

Nathan~2 months
If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day
so I never have to live without you.
~A.A. Milne
What a privilege to not only get to watch little ones grow, but to be able to photograph them with each milestone as well.
Nathan is a little over two months because we just couldn't manage to squeeze in his session on time. I look forward to documenting his first year over these next several months.

Cody
What a sweet baby boy! Adorable smile, adorable dimple, adorable personality. I could have spent all day with this little guy and his mama but I don't think he would have been too happy spending the day with me. Funny how babies let you know when they are done, regardless of what it is they are doing. I never really have to question when I am done photographing a little one because they call it quits long before I ever will. Thankfully, he did give me a few smiles and some very sweet, endearing looks before throwing in the towel. Thanks buddy!

I was born with an enormous need for affection and a terrible need to give it. ~Audrey Hepburn
It was such a joy to photograph this little guy. He smiled A LOT, though you won't see it in most of his pictures. I just think there's something about a camera that makes little ones look at you with wonder. They will give you the moon until that thing goes back up in front of your face. In spite of the lack of smiles captured on camera, these looks like he is giving below were just priceless.

Sometimes the best photo shoots are those that are not planned~ unknown
What started out as an hour of baby time for me, quickly turned into a photo session. I couldn't resist how cute Tydus was being just hanging out on the floor and playing so I grabbed my camera. We were having so much fun that I think he forgot I was taking his pictures.

tydus turns 4 months~another milestone
This little guy has given me a run for my money in the last month. I've always been the baby whisperer but he was starting to make me doubt myself. Any time we would try an attempt at pictures he would cry and cry. I was able to capture a few cute shots at his 3 month but not as many as I would have liked. Today was a whole new ball game. He came with smiles, he smiled through his session and he left with smiles. Amazing what a few little teeth can do. They can make you or brake you. Now that they are working their way out, this little man is a very different baby. He's back to his old, happy self and I am back to being the baby whisperer again. Life is good.

tydus at 3 months
This little guy likes to give me a run for my money whenever I pull out my camera. However, I was able to get a few shots of him and his adorable little smile once he forgot about the camera in front of his face.

baby gracyn~3 months
Time goes by so very quickly. I was privileged to take this little peanut's big brother's pictures when he was this size and then as he has grown with their older sister. Just three months ago I was at the hospital taking pictures of Miss Gracyn and now look at her. All bright eyed and wiggly.

The Ever Adorable Baby C
Baby C's 6-month pictures could not have come on a more beautiful January day. With temps in the high 60's we were not only able to capture her cute personality indoors but outdoors as well.
She was having so much fun chewing on the foam hearts that she decided to try the rose petals as well. After all, isn't that what babies do? Everything must go in the mouth! However, the rose petals were not as tasty as the foam hearts, as she would quickly learn. With a hint of rose scent and some nice die, they made for a not-so-tasty treat.
This next grouping of pictures was when her daddy came home. So sweet to see her eyes light up when she saw him and he started talking to her. I think they may have a "daddy's girl" on their hands. My heart stopped when I was editing these and saw the one with her hand over her heart.
And, of course, miss kitty had to get in on the action. I guess she figured that since her collar was pink that she automatically would get to be part of the shoot. She was right.
Some of these faces were quite funny. She was getting a bit tired and gave us some cute looks.
