a photographers dilema

It is very difficult for a photographer to find another photographer to capture their images.  Either there are none in the area or, in my case, none that will take pictures the way that I prefer without smothering the photos in post-processing techniques.  I really wanted some shots of my husband and myself but wasn't quite sure what to do.  So I was mentioning it to my daughters and my youngest (15) said that she would take them for us.  She knows how to use my camera and has a good eye and has been on many shoots with me so I thought I would give her a shot at it.  I am so pleased with how they turned out and impressed with her skills.  It's hard for me to feel like I look good in photos but she pulled it off.

My first wedding!  I've been saying all along that I don't plan to ever do weddings.  But this couple asked me and since I knew it wasn't going to be a huge, outlandish wedding, I agreed.  I'm so glad that I did.  It was a lot of fun to follow them around.  However, I didn't get all of the fun shots I would have liked but time just was not on our side and I wasn't overly confident since this was my first wedding.
