Two weeks ago I was privileged to take the annual dance pictures for The Dance Academy. It's something I have wanted to do for a few years now but was unable because of circumstances. This year was my opportunity.
I was a bit anxious, a bit nervous and a bit apprehensive. This is a big day. A long day. It's also not my "usual" type of photo shoot. I am more about silly and real. It's hard to be either of those things while posing. And yet, I know posing is necessary in this situation.
However, I was able to get a few silly shots out of the groups and some of the separate friend pictures. Because of these moments, the adorable little ones, the beautiful older girls and just being in the midst of all things girly, for me, it was a wonderful day.
